Spirit-of-Place / Genius Loci
This ongoing series of drawings, paintings, and prints documents Spirit-of-Place / Genius Loci at selected sites that I have found to be special Places with exemplary qualities after visiting them, often several times over the years. The art in this series will attempt to interpret the Context (cultural, geographic, & topographic), Scale, Symbolic and Experiential qualities as well as Formal and Technical features of each unique Place. Pieces will be added here as they are completed; its a work in progress!
